Authentic Slovenian survival & adventure activity holidays

Miha and Žiga Ogorelec

Following family tradition, Miha and Žiga were already, as children, able to survive a couple of days in the wilderness with minimal equipment and no food.

Miha studied Forestry and Renewable Sources and participated in a study about tracking the movement of wolves and bears on the SloWolf and DinAlp Bear projects. He trained in martial arts, volleyball and archery.

Žiga has a Ba Hons in Biology and Master’s degree in Ecology and Biodiversity.

He organises research camps for students, work actions and training. After completing his studies, he spent a year travelling the world – he cycled through five continents and 34 states.

He trained in handball, javelin and dancing.

The brothers have attained a Chainsaw training and safety certificate, an Open water scuba diving certification, a Cave exploring license and 15 weeks of basic military training.

They have numerous hobbies; the ones they have in common include underwater fishing, surfing and trekking. Together they organise lectures and run survival in wilderness programmes for tourists, children and specialist services.

They say that nature is like an open book.  I'm a Survivor guides Miha and Žiga Ogorelec are brothers, passionately devoted to nature.
